Skate Manchester will return to the historic Cathedral Gardens this winter, with bosses confirming this year’s opening date and releasing Super Early Bird tickets.
A staple in the city’s festive calendar, Skate Manchester will return from Fri 6 Nov – Sun 3 Jan. The fully-covered, weatherproof rink will be accompanied by a specially curated programme of events, themed nights, competitions and inclusive skate sessions.
The team will host tailored sessions to meet the needs of as many visitors as possible, including dedicated quiet and toddler sessions designed for a more relaxed skating environment, along with discounted tickets and weekly events for students and the local community.
Local residents can enjoy 20% off skating on Mondays and Tuesdays until 18 December using code LCLOVE2026, while children can skate for free on Tuesdays between 4pm and 6pm.
