Packed with creative delights, street food, music and vintage finds, the Makers Market returns to West Didsbury this Sunday (29 May) on the old Withington Hospital site. More than 110 traders will be joining the fun and with warm weather of around 18 degrees C is predicted, why not head down early to make the most of the day? Summery treats includes flowers and garden essentials from Hillside Herbs and edible pansy-topped cakes from Jemma Egley. Lucy Lockets Pocket is an innovative upcycling business with a fine line in picnic blankets. Complete the look with an old school wicker hamper from Vintage For Homes. If you’ve got stuff at home you’d like to exchange for bespoke art work, make a beeline for the new ‪#‎SquatMcr‬ art stall. This enterprising group are looking for camping gear, toiletries or food (although they will accept donations too) to help them to set up a self-sustainable housing and food project in the area. Other highlights include a full street food arena, live music and face painters. Dogs are welcome – so bring the whole family and get into the Bank Holiday spirit.
