Manchester’s Pride celebrations head to the suburbs this month, as Chorlton hosts its first-ever Pride party – a community-led event that celebrates and brings together LGBTQ+ people in the area and beyond.

Much-loved bar and pizza spot, The Beagle, are joining the festivities with a packed schedule that ranges from pub quizzes to live music and DJs.

Kicking off on Tue 13 Sep, The Beagle Sessions sees the return of the venue’s stellar house band, who’ll be freewheeling their way through an evening of neo-soul, nu jazz, and laid back groove covers of wherever the night takes them.

Thu 15 Sep brings the Make a Scene camp movie Quiz. Expect cocktails, drag queens, side-splitting laughs and plenty of audience participation. A Suggested £2pp Quiz entry fee will be donated to @aktcharity

Heading into the weekend, Fri 16 Sep sees Chorlton Pride late with a DJ set from @the_niallist, before @mix_stress takes to the decks on Sat 17 Sep.

Along with all of that, The Beagle will also be slinging Nell’s famous ice cream sandwiches all month long, with proceeds being donated to pride charities.
