Having taken Heaton Moor by storm with their neighbourhood shop stocking locally sourced and hand-picked produce, beers, soft-drinks, fresh fruit, vegetables and baked goods, the folks behind Bernie’s Grocery Store are heading to Altrincham.
Taking up residence in a vacant unit on Central Way, just down the road from the hugely popular new street food and drinks hub, One Altrincham, and a stone’s throw from the town’s ever-popular Market Hall, Bernie’s second site promises to deliver more of the same food supplies and essential home items that made their inaugural pop-up so popular.
During lockdown, the Bernie’s team launched Provisions & Grocery – a food box service that included a selection of independent food and drink items hand-picked by the store’s owners. Meanwhile recent months have seen their Heaton Moor spot become one of the official pick-up points for the massively popular Patels Pies who specialise in irresistible Indian-inspired baked goods.
While construction on Bernie’s new branch is still in its early stages, we’ll have to wait and see if Patel’s Pies make the trip over to Altrincham too. Find out more by visiting the Bernie’s Instagram page below.
