Last minute dinner: The Hip Hop Chip Shop’s summer club at Kosmonaut
Resident pop-up The Hip Hop Chip Shop is joining forces with Kosmonaut to bring you a 4-course supper club to ease the pain of returning to work after a long weekend. Starting with a welcome drink, there will be a starter of pea and ham soup with a fritter, followed by a garam masala infused mackerel and whiting samosa with chilli, lime, potato and peas. Next up is a panko breaded corned beef hash with battered black pudding and haggis, ending with a champagne and chocolate glaze croissant donut. Filipino supper party: Mama Z Filipino Disco
Beginning as a food pop-up amongst friends, the event has grown into a Filipino party and you’re all invited. For the £20 ticket cost, four courses of Filipino food will be cooked up in an open kitchen by Mama Z. They are served with four drinks (beers or Filipino mocktails) to match the flavours, and an explanation of the dish, too.
