Get ready for a new kind of lunchtime. Zouk Tea Bar & Grill have launched their new Tiffin menu, aimed at the hungry and health-conscious worker bees of Manchester. What’s a Tiffin? You mean you don’t know? Well, it’s a traditional Mumbai dish served in a metal tin. Since the 1890’s the Dabbawalla lunchbox delivery folk of Mumbai have been collecting people’s empties in the morning and coming back round at midday with the good stuff: the tiffin chef’s careful selection of curry and rice portions. And now you can experience this right here in Manchester. At only £8.95, Zouk’s lunchtime Tiffin options are just right for a healthy lunch and include a meat and vegetarian version each week. In every serving you’ll find a combo of curries – your favourite handis, kormas and masalas are all there – or your choice of something from the grill, all served up with rice and naan. Keep turning up on different days because the menu changes throughout the week –  and because the menu is available from noon to 4pm – those of you on a late lunch won’t miss out.
