On 4th July, raise a toast to Uncle Sam with Tusk’s free Independence Day Party. The Northern Quarter cocktail bar has teamed up with New Amsterdam Vodka, a distillery named after the original name for New York. Here’s a reason to get down early – the first 30 people will step behind the bar and make their own drink for free. Sample their special New Amsterdam vodka cocktail menu, available throughout July. It comprises the Moscow mule-inspired ‘Amsterdam Mule’, the extra fruity ‘Myrtle’s Cosmo’, the ‘Dammmtini’ which positively bursts with blueberries, and the quaffable Prosecco cocktail ‘Amsterdam Fizz’. The fun begins at 6pm with a DJ, free nibbles and beer pong, and there’ll be an enlightening talk by New Amsterdam Vodka at 6.30pm.
