Free fun: Get a selfie at the site of a superhero battle at Great Northern Warehouse this weekend

To celebrate the Netflix debut of superhero series Jupiter’s Legacy, Great Northern Warehouse is inviting you to snap a selfie at the site of a real-life comic book battle this weekend. Rumour has it that an epic fight between the forces of good and evil recently took place on the roof of this iconic Mancunian building, leaving debris scattered across the square below, including a portion of the roof itself.

Now that the dust has settled following this super-powered punch up, we’re left with the perfect photo opportunity to light up your social feeds with a geeky city centre snap. Visitors will be able to visit from Friday 7 until Sunday 9 May between 8am and 8pm, with full social distancing measures in place to ensure a safe experience.

Based on the popular comic book series of the same by writer Marc Millar and illustrator Frank Quietly, Jupiter’s Legacy follows a group of young heroes struggling to find their place in the world in the epic shadows cast by their equally super-powered parents.
