Light & Noise at The Yard
North Manchester art space The Yard hosts this free community exhibition on Monday night. Light & Noise was created in collaboration with the charity TOMS and hairdresser-turned-activist Joshua Coombes. London-based Coombes is best known for providing free haircuts to the homeless, and this exhibition aims to use art to shed light on the lives of Manchester’s homeless population. The artist roster includes painter Jamie Morrison, printmaker Mark Young and experimental audiovisual collective IMPATV.
