The buzz of Halloween is beginning to wear off, meaning we can all retire those super-spooky contact lenses, white and black face paint and dead cheerleader/blood-splattered French maid/killer something or other costumes. Bring yourself back to life with a weekend of free activities, wholesome and wonderful and without a drip of fake blood in sight.
Bokeh Yeah! present poetry film event Timeline
Bokeh Yeah! And Comma Films are teaming up to present a collection of poetry films, including pieces previously commissioned by Bokeh Yeah! and Comma Films, as well as an explanation of what the two respective organisations do. Later in the day will also see the launch of Gaia Holmes’ new book of poems, Lifting the Piano with One Hand, with readings and screenings of films based on her work. As well as this, a selection of the best films from the inaugural FilmPoem Festival will be on show, highlighting how the marriage of poetry and film is becoming more and more cemented in modern day culture.
