Retro gaming festival Power Up returns to Manchester’s Museum of Science and Industry, allowing attendees to delve deep into a collection of classic and contemporary games. This Northern gaming event features some of the most popular titles of the past 40 years, playable on a wide selection of consoles, from the Atari and ZXSpectrum to PC and XBox One. Attendees will be able to book themselves into a variety of sessions, some lasting 90 minutes (£7), others half-day (£12) and some adult-only evening sessions (£12) taking place until 9.30pm. Family discounts are available for groups of 3-5 people, making it the perfect way to keep the kids happy during a trip to the City Centre. A full list of the games on offer at this year’s Power Up can be found via the MOSI site, however you can expect everything from Super Smash Bros and Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64 to Earth Worm Jim and Sonic The Hedgehog on the Sega Mega Drive.
