Wild and wonderful, Confidence Man have enjoyed a blockbuster year — from a show-stealing performance on Glastonbury’s Park Stage, to a sell-out night at London’s Forum, to the release of their incredible second album Tilt.
Kicking on from that, the Australian electro-pop outfit will bring their one-of-a-kind live performance to Manchester this November, for a special show at the revamped New Century Hall.
Once home to a legendary dance hall the building was a white-collar conference centre by day, but hosted the world’s biggest acts by night, including the likes of Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones and Tina Turner in the 60s/70s.
New Century looks to continue that legacy, after a £10m transformation has seen the restoration of stunning features like the original sprung dancefloor, disco ceiling and wood-panelled wall to create a wildly unique new live culture venue in the city. A perfect setting for undoubtedly one of the world’s most exciting, unique acts right now.
Tickets go on sale this Fri 29 Jul.
