September is here and with it comes the highly anticipated return of The Warehouse Project which this year heads to its new home, the Mayfield Depot. There’s many unmissable events scattered throughout their brand new line-up but one that should certainly be on your radar is their FAC51 – The Hacienda celebration which takes place on Sun 12 Oct. Led by Manchester favourites Hacienda Classical, their full orchestra will be joined by a host of guests, Djs and Hacienda legends like Mike Pickering, Graeme Park, Justin Robertson and K Klass. The event promises to showcase the very best of dance music’s roots in Manchester and give you the chance to be an active part of the legendary story and history of Manchester most infamous nightspot, The Hacienda. Attendees can expect sets from the iconic London collective Soul II Soul who brought us tracks like Back To Life and Keep on Movin’, as well as a performance from post-punk pioneers A Certain Ration. Legendary producer Arthur Baker and American house experts Louie Vega, David Morales and genre heavyweight Marshall Jefferson will also be on hand to keep your feet moving in between turns form an eclectic selection of DJs. Tickets are £35 (+ booking fee) and are available via the link below.
