Indie-folk five-piece Lord Huron have announced a new streaming show Alive From Whispering Pines – with the first episode premiering this Thursday 7 January at 8pm (GMT). Recorded live at the band’s studio deep in the wilderness, the 4-part series will take place each month and feature plenty of music and laughs. To celebrate the release of their debut album Fall In Fall Out at the end of the month, The Luka State bring us a virtual tour with dates throughout January. Kicking off this Friday 8 January, the lads present a world-wide stream from their own little place on the internet – The Winsford Arms. The performance will be free to watch, but you’ll need to get a virtual ticket via the band’s website – just enter the code FREEACCESS at checkout and you’ll receive a private Youtube link to the stream. If you’re busy this Friday eve – fear not. The Luka State will also be streaming next week on Thursday 14 January in association with Manchester’s Scruff Of The Neck.
