The Met Bury continues their Artists From Anywhere season of virtual concerts this Thursday 18 March with Canadian folk/Americana duo Madison Violet. With “heart-wrenching songwriting and luscious harmonies” – Brenley McEachern and Lisa MacIsaac have nine albums under their belts with a career going back over twenty years. SoundON present a brand new livestream series based at Bury’s The Met. Working with upcoming artists, the team present prerecorded sets which go live on their Youtube channel every Friday at noon GMT. Local band Foxglove featured in episode 1 (Friday 12) and can still be viewed on the channel. The next episode will go live this Friday 19 March. Manchester rock club Satan’s Hollow go live with the VS Night this Saturday 20 March. From 10pm you’ll be able to head into two virtual rooms – Room 1 will be Bring Me the Horizon vs Linkin Park (plus Satan’s Saturday night main room music) and Room 2 will feature Fall Out Boy vs Blink 182 (plus Satan’s punk room tunes). Wednesday 17 March marks St Patrick’s Day and despite lockdown and pubs remaining closed (for now), Green Hot Clover have something special lined up to celebrate. From 8pm on Wednesday evening, the full band will be streaming music live from Manchester’s O’Shea’s Irish Bar via Facebook Live. The stream can be caught on the Green Hot Clover or O’Shea’s profiles.
