A brilliant bodies weekender at the Science and Industry Museum | Sat 5 May - Mon 6 May

Running from Sat 4 May – Mon 6 May, the Science and Industry Museum hosts an incredible lineup of talent who have trained their bodies to do extraordinary things, with visitors invited to head down and have a go themselves. Whether it’s beatboxing, Bollywood dancing or circus skills, pop over and maybe even discover an unlikely hidden talent.

Sounds From the Other City takes over Salford | Sun 5 May

The fantastic Sounds From the Other City returns on Sunday, bringing a stellar lineup of live music and after parties to various venues across Salford. Names for this year’s edition include the likes of Gruff Rhys, Halo Maud, A Guy Called Gerald, C Duncan, Muva of Earth, Nightbus and Free Love, who will be gracing some of the eleven stages at this year’s event.

Common x Nell's x Queer Brewing day party | Sat 4 May

Common, Nell’s and London-based Queer Brewing have joined forces for a huge all-day party on Saturday. The London-based queer and trans-owned brewery will be taking over the taps at the Northern Quarter favourite for the day, Nell’s will be serving slices until late and we’re reassured that there will be lots of glitter. What’s not to love?

Stockport's Alternative Market | Sun 5 May

Stockport Alternative Market will be taking place this Sunday at the Masonic Guildhall.
