Perfect for classical music newcomers and connoisseurs alike, the RNCM hosts two special shows that reimagine legendary tracks from the realms of classic rock and disco in the coming weeks and months.
1997 was a year that truly redefined rock, boasting a startling slate of releases that included Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours, David Bowie’s legendary Berlin-era Low and Heroes, and Queen’s News of the World.
In February, the RNCM Session Orchestra celebrates this era, revisiting some of the year’s most iconic tracks and reimagining them with bold new arrangements crafted especially for a full orchestra and supremely talented soloists from the school’s Popular Music department.
