James Martin Manchester is set to host a special one-off evening with prestigious champagne house Laurent-Perrier.

Taking place on Wed 26 Nov, the exclusive event will feature a bespoke six-course menu crafted to pair perfectly with Laurent-Perrier champagnes.

Offering a unique dining experience in the restaurant’s beautiful Grade II listed setting, diners will be guided through the pairings by the kitchen’s award-winning chefs and expert Laurent-Perrier sommeliers.

On arrival, guests will be greeted with smoked applewood cheese gougères, paired with Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Brut. Next, there’s cauliflower velouté with Laurent-Perrier Brut Millésime, followed by poached pear and Clawson blue salad alongside a Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Iteration No. 26.

Hand-dived scallop with black pudding and celeriac will be served with Laurent-Perrier La Covée Rosé, before a Himalyan Salt-aged Yorkshire beef wellington, which comes with James Martin Signature Syrah. For dessert, Chocolate Marquise is complemented by Laurent-Perrier Harmony (demi-sec), with the option to add petit fours for £6 extra. A vegetarian and vegan menu is also available upon request.
