NQ drinks den Kosmonaut has been up to quite a lot lately, having recently enjoyed the launch of its first custom-made art installation. Now things are developing once again to accommodate a new live music night, which will take place every month. Kicking off proceedings for the first event is Italian electronic duo Satelliti, who recently released their groove-addicted new record Transister on Leeds-based label Cuckundoo Records. Self-confessed “electro spandex clad progressive noise weasels” Barberos will be filling the void as support act, unleashing their unique blend of abrasive noise and hypnotic techno onto the bar’s basement. In adding live music to an agenda already boasting events, exhibitions and DJ sets, Kosmonaut is fast becoming a one-stop shop in the city’s entertainment scene.

Launches Fri 22 Nov (monthly), Kosmonaut, 10 Tariff Street, M1 2FF, 8pm – late, £4, www.wegottickets.com
