Some people like to spend their Friday nights in generic clubs, but if unusual venues tickle your fancy, then Manchester city centre’s newest offering might be a diary staple. Set in a former abattoir just off of Oldham Road, Lean Back begins its journey at the end of August; a brand new club night dedicated to introducing the visitor to fresh hip hop and house tracks; somewhat of a major diversion from nights blasting old-school hits such as Juicy. They’ve already bagged some DJs for future dates: Burton Joyce (Zutekh), Greg Purnell (Oxymoron), Mat Lake (Block Party) plus others. These guys will handle those end of summer blues.
