The Moradokmai Theatre troupe from rural Thailand are offering one-hour workshops in Thai music and dance, in return for donations towards the rebuilding of their centre following the devastating floods. The group, which appeared at the acclaimed ‘Contacting The World Festival’ at Contact this summer, are trying to replace some of the theatre resources and musical instruments accumulated over 20 years and which were destroyed in the floods. The company of 60-plus members, live, work and create theatre together in a Buddhist eco-community with bases in Loei, Chang Rai and Patumthani. A chance to learn something new and give something back.

Workshops are available between Tue 28 Aug and Fri 31 Aug, and Mon 10 Sept and Fri 14 Sept. Price: donations towards their rebuilding fund. For performances or workshops bookings, contact Hazel Roy  hazelroy46@hotmail.com or called 07931 587058.
