The brains behind one of Manchester’s most popular artisan bakeries, Trove, have announced a new location, set to open this June. The new site will measure 1000sqft, and will find a home at Bloc – the latest venture from Bruntwood Works – situated on Fountain Street.

Trove’s new café will be serving up a brand new brunch menu inspired by their beloved sourdough bread, as well as coffee from Allpress Espresso, and freshly-squeezed juices from One Zero Zero. Other additions on the menu include pastries, cakes, pickles and chutneys, and freshly baked bread.

The announcement comes as Trove Bakery celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, originally opening their first bakery in Levenshulme back in 2011. After receiving the Manchester Food and Drink award for ‘Best Coffee Shop’ in 2018, Trove opened their second site in Ancoats, which has already seen huge success.

Noteworthy neighbours include the Brewdog Hotel and bar, and fitness studio Reset. Trove Bakery’s third location will open on Tuesday 1 June 2021. Explore more Northern bakeries in our round up of sweet treats that only Manchester natives will know about.
