This time last year, we were getting excited about the launch of Levenshulme’s community-led monthly market – and following its runaway success, Levy Market returns this Saturday as a weekly event, meaning even more opportunity to discover the area’s hidden gems and talent. The market will take place from March until December – it’s already sold out over fifty stalls every week until June – with each week offering fresh groceries alongside rotating themes for each Saturday of the month. The month kicks off with the Handmade and Home market, followed by a Food and Drink market (second Saturday of the month), a Fashion and Flea market (third Saturday of the month) and rounded off by ‘the best of the best’ (fourth Saturday of the month). Fittingly, the first market falls on the final weekend of the month, meaning this weekend’s event will be packed with the best of Levy Market: speciality bread by Trove; award-winning sausages by Bobby’s Bangers; premium ice cream from Ginger’s Comfort Emporium; plants from Bud nursery; street food; homeware; crafts; gifts and more. Be sure to also check out the brand new real ale bar, market café and covered seating area, so you can enjoy the local flavours whatever the weather.

Sat 29 Mar, shopper’s car park (next to Levenshulme station), M19 3PJ. 10am – 4pm, FREE, levymarket.com
