Promotion juggernauts Hit & Run bring London-based trap outfit Stööki Sound back to Manchester for the second time, after their storming show at H&R’s 7th birthday. Swing Ting will be hosting the second room, with one of our favourite DJs Brackles playing alongside residents Joey B, Samrai, Fox and myself. Two top bookings from BPM here, firstly with one of grime’s greatest DJs – the mighty Spooky. With an ability to bring an intense energy to the party, he’s one of the rare grime acts equally comfortable on the radio and in the club. Nativ, the second act on the bill is on the rise, with his percussive, bass-heavy take on club music resulting in releases on Tumble Audio and BPM resident Madam X’s recent Kaizen Movements compilation.

Another month, another edition of one of the most special clubnights in Manchester’s history. Mr Scruff’s Keep It Unreal nights are a huge part of the city’s musical make-up – hours of great music that never panders to the up-for-it crowd and a lovely soundsystem in the great surroundings of Band On The Wall.
