Thu 23 Jun – Seasons Mixtape Launch @ Soup Kitchen
Generic Greeting-affiliated Ono celebrate the launch of their Seasons Mixtape Series, with Soup Kitchen’s bar hosting an evening with some of Manchester’s finest, including mixtape contributors Big War and Originally A Dancer, plus Szanja. Things kick off at 6 and run until late, with no entry fee.

Fri 24 Jun – Goldie @ Antwerp Mansion
Drum and bass royalty takes to the Mansion stage as Metalheadz bossman Goldie (MBE) performs a special 90 minute set. He’ll be joined on the night by Dispatch Recordings’ own Ant TC1 with MC Flux on host duties. Manchester’s Grand Theft Audio and Worried About Henry take over Antwerp’s second room.

Sat 25 Jun – Sticky & Subzero @ Sankeys
Proper fun garage skankout at Sankeys, with hero of the scene Sticky and bassline don Subzero both on the bill for the wonderfully low price of £5 advance. There are much, much worse ways to spend a fiver on a Saturday night.

Thu 30 Jun – Cookies & Bass @ The Live Room
Manchester powerhouse Bloc2Bloc bring a whole heap of talented DJs to The Live Room to help raise money for MASH, a charity supporting homeless women and sex workers. Highlights include: The Steppahs, DJ Djinn, Euphonique and a performance by rising star Zoe Violet. Just £3 for a top night for a top cause.

Fri 1 Jul – Babyhomo @ Mantra Warehouse
Well-loved Manchester institution Homoelectric present Babyhomo, a one-room special event at Ancoats’ hottest new venue Mantra Warehouse. This allows the crew to present a special blend of house, disco and techno, instead of their usual arrangement of themed rooms. DJs Gina Breeze, Jamie Bull and Will Tramp! will be in full control for the duration.

Sat 2 Jul – Mr Scruff @ Band On The Wall
Speaking of Manchester institutions, it’s time for Scruff’s monthly dance party at BOTW, one of the safest bets in the city for high quality dancing opportunities and a lovely crowd. Scruff will be in charge for the whole night, and BOTW impeccable system will be firing on all cylinders.
