Fri 13 Nov – Logan Sama (pictured) & Spooky @ Antwerp Mansion
Hit&Run present a night of grime chaos at the mansion, with two of the scene’s biggest and best DJs – Mr Sama of Kiss FM fame and all-round badman Spooky. Expect reloads aplenty, and with a backroom hosted by Madam X’s Kaizen Records, you’ve got plenty going on to satisfy your bass-heavy needs.

Fri 13 Nov – High Hoops @ Hidden
Another Friday, another night of quality house music at Manchester’s most exciting new venue. New Jersey’s DJ Qu headlines, alongside Chicago’s own Amir Alexander. French Fries is the curveball here, with the Parisian producer heavily championed by the likes of Oneman and Night Slugs – which should keep things interesting.

Sat 14 Nov – So Flute @ The Ruby Lounge
One of The Roadhouse’s most popular resident nights, So Flute have moved across the Northern Quarter to their new home, The Ruby Lounge. With a music policy based around soulfulness, past guests have included the likes of Giles Peterson and Alexander Nut. November’s edition is a residents special, with Tru Thoughts’ Werkha joined by Danuka, Yadava & Baloo, with the inimitable Kwasi on mic duties.

Sat 14 Nov – Jamie Duggan @ Static
Another chance to see the bassline king in action in Manchester this weekend. If you have even a passing interest in the genre, you should see him play at least once. And it’s only £6 advance. Do it.

Sun 15 Nov – Hotflush @ Soup Kitchen
Hotflush dabbled in Sunday raving back in August, with secret guests Scuba and Trevino taking to the Soup Kitchen basement. It’s just £5 on the door, or free if you sign up as a member on – a small price to pay for some top quality house and techno partying on a school night.
