Thu 27 Nov | Trappedaudio | Soup Kitchen
Soup Kitchen’s run of strong grime events continue, this time courtesy of promoters Trappedaudio. Headliners Last Japan and OH91 bring a heavy pedigree, as Zomby collaborator and Bristol-based dance destroyer respectively. Backed by BPM’s T.Dot and the Trappedaudio residents on the night, there’s plenty of bang for your buck here.

Fri 28 Nov | Soul:ution | Band On The Wall
Ever-reliable, Soul:ution remains the leading light for quality drum and bass in Manchester. This month’s instalment marks the release of MC DRS’ Pupeteer and to celebrate, he’s invited Metalheadz’ Jubei and Soul:R legend Marcus Intalex. If you’re a DnB head and you’ve not reached Soul:ution yet, make this your first visit. Top vibes inside.

Fri 29 Nov | Matt ‘Jam’ Lamont (pictured) | 1 Primrose Street
There’s garage royalty in Manchester this Friday, as one half of the legendary Tuff Jam production outfits touches the decks at Ancoats’ 1 Primrose Street. Absolutely instrumental in the development of UK 4×4 garage, Tuff Jam created the perfect blend of rough and smooth, with their signature choppy drums. Recently Boiler Room witnessed that Lamont has still got it and so can you. Bonus DJ/MC set from another legend of the UK scene in the shape of Fallacy, as well. Listen here:

Sat 30 Nov | Hoya:Hoya | The Roadhouse
Back to basics this month for Hoya, as they make a return to how it all started: Illum Sphere and Jonny Dub all night. For some clubnights, residents for the duration would put you on dodgy ground, but luckily for Hoya, they’re blessed with exceptional talent all round. Illum Sphere is the latest person to compile a mix for the Fabriclive series and Jonny Dub is responsible for x amount of dancefloor slayings over the years. Hosted by the wonderful Fox, with visuals provided by the equally wonderful Emmanuel Biard.
