Food has been curated by their pals at GRUB and include Mexican butties by Cafe Horchata, Vietnamese fare by Banh mi Booth and Rudy’s Neapolitan Pizza.

Simple is Reinvented
Simple Bar & Kitchen has been kicking around the Northern Quarter for nearly 15 years, making it one of the area’s oldest eateries. It changed ownership a couple of years ago and is now part of the Cord and Wood, Wine & Deli family. As such, it’s having a complete refresh and will soon be proudly displaying a new, ultra-sleek look and contemporary menu designed by an award-winning chef featuring favourites with a twist, like duck tacos with kimchi slaw.

El Gato Negro finds its Manchester home
El Gato Negro’s top notch tapas is coming to King Street, as it’s one of Manchester’s ‘most iconic addresses’, say the team. The restaurant will take over a former retail space and be spread over three floors, with careful design that reflects the building’s heritage. As well as a spot for al-fresco dining, it will also feature an open kitchen so diners can ‘experience the theatre and pace of authentic tapas’. Roll on summer, when the doors of this hotly-anticipated restaurant finally open.
