Radio 6 Music Festival have annoucned that Manchester will be the new permanent home of the 6 Music Festival, a partnership that kicks off with next month’s edition that sees Loyle Carner, Christine and the Queens and Arlo Parks all appearing across the weekend.

Loyle Carner will play Victoria Warehouse on Fri 24 Mar, where he’ll perform alongside the AMC Gospel Choir. Kojey Radical and Tarzsa complete the Friday night billing.

Christine and the Queens head things up with his brand-new live show on Sat 25 Mar, alongside support from Lava La Rue, while Arlo Parks draws things to a close with a world-premiere of new music on Sun 26 Mar, joined by The Big Moon and Don Letts.

Also at Victoria Warehouse, on Fri 24 Mar, starting after Loyle Carner at 11pm, Rave Forever sees DJ sets from AFRODEUTSCHE, Erol Alkan, Hot Chip and Phoebe IH.

Band on The Wall will also host Indie Forever on Thu 23 Mar as part of the festival, which sees DJ sets from Tim Burgess, Steve Lamacq, Yard Act, Good Future and Emily Pilbeam.
