Already a hit in Leeds, Liverpool and over 50 other cities around the world, Mikkeller Running Club has launched a Manchester chapter. Meeting on the first Saturday of each month, Mikkeller Running Club Manchester offers a 5km or 10km social run around the city – taking in the Village, Northern Quarter, Piccadilly Basin and Ancoats – before ending with a social beer or two. The next outing on Saturday 6 August will start and end at Beer Nouveau, a small brewery and brewtap on Temperance Street, behind Piccadilly Station. Mikkeller Running Club was established in Copenhagen, home of its namesake brewery, in 2014, and now has chapters as far afield as Cape Town, Rio, San Francisco and Tokyo.
