Family-run bakers MOST will be opening in Altrincham this weekend, after their lockdown bread deliveries from their home-based microbakery saw them prove such a huge hit.
Matt, a former primary school teacher, and passionate self-taught baker jumped at the chance to expand when the old Warrens Bakery space became available in the town centre. Former solicitor Suze will take the reins with running the business.
Visitors can expect eight different types of slow-fermented bread, classic and savoury croissants, cruffins and a selection of other cakes, cookies and sweet treats, while their eight-year-old daughter has been tasked with heading up the gingerbread selection.
There’ll also be brews from Kickback Coffee and wines from Reserve, along with cheeses, butters, smoked salmon and kimchi from other local suppliers.
Over the next few months the team will also launch bread-making classes for adults and children alike. A particular focus on sustainability will see them kick off with ‘Bread & Beer’, where attendees can learn how to make bread using spent grains from the local brewery.
Opening this Sat 25 Jun, the team will be celebrating by giving away 100 free brownies, free gingerbreads for hte kids and £1 cupcakes.
