The RADAR music industry showcase event has secured some of the most hotly tipped artists of 2015 to play at Manchester’s Band on the Wall. Manchester College, ILUVLIVE, Music Week and MusicConex have put their heads together to construct a bill of artists you should catch now before they’re filling much larger venues. Headlining it is Natalie McCool, an acclaimed talent already accustomed to plaudits from the likes of Coldplay’s Chris Martin, who judged a national songwriting competition she won. The line-up that spans multiple genres, with Blizzard a rapper whose name has been familiar for a few years, since the video of his Don’t Flop rap battle against school teacher Mark Grist that went viral, nearing five million hits at the last count. Elsewhere, London indie-rockers The Carnabys, soul singer Izzy Bizu, Salford melody makers The Lottery Winners and funky dub collective The Kaptivators will also be vying for the attention of music lovers in the city and beyond.
