Everyone knows about the events scheduled to take place during Manchester Pride 2019, but Manchester’s outskirts are by no means letting the City Centre have all the fun. Proud people fill the Mancunian suburb of Levenshulme and its locally celebrated night market hosts this year’s contribution to LGBT+ support, interestingly in Levenshulme train station car park (a classic urban space). The Pride Disco Night Market welcomes everyone, with the best street food on offer, a full bar and plenty of local businesses showing off handmade, bespoke products between 5-9pm on Fri 16 Aug. LGBT+ DJs Kiss Me Again will also be making an appearance off the back of their Soup Kitchen residency, filling the carefree atmosphere with even more joy, encouraging freedom and dancing the night away with their 7-9pm slot. In addition to these celebrations, the Levenshulme Runners will be completing the Rainbow Run at 6:30pm at the location of the party, giving an opportunity for attendees to support those finishing and runners to cool down in such an eclectic, upbeat location. One thing’s for sure, Levy Pride is definitely one for your Manchester Pride 2019 calendar, especially for locals who want to support the LGBT+ community in their area.
