As part the ‘Get It Loud in Libraries’ programme, Oldham Library is hosting two gigs from up-and-coming bands this October. First up is Superfood, a Birmingham quartet whose music is inspired by the Britpop sound. They will be playing tracks from their forthcoming album Don’t Say That. Later in the month, Teleman will be performing. Formed from the ashes of Pete and the Pirates, these London-based indie rockers have been lauded by the Guardian and the Telegraph.
