Ahead of the band’s huge sold-out show at Wythenshawe Park this Friday, Pulp will be launching a ‘pop-up pub’ in the city centre.

For three days, from Fri 28 Aug – Sun 30 Aug, the legendary group will take over the Rat & Pigeon pub, bringing a series of events, limited edition merch, music and competitions curated by the band to the much-loved boozer.

Patrons of “Pulp Pop-Up Pub” can expect a jukebox programmed by Jarvis himself, with the venue decked out in rare Pulp memorabilia borrowed for the weekend from the band’s archive.

A special, limited-edition Wythenshawe Park T-shirt will be sold exclusively at the Rat & Pigeon while stocks last, and there will be a chance to win a test pressing of Pulp’s new Live! record. There will also be a number of giveaways at Piccadilly Records across the weekend.

The Pulp pop-up pub will be open 12pm – 7pm on Friday, 12 ’till late on Saturday, and 12pm – 2pm on Sunday.
