Band on the Wall welcomes Jamaican reggae star Cornell Campbell tonight, for a show with Soothsayers that will continue into the early hours. Campbell, widely considered to possess one of the finest voices to have emerged from reggae’s golden years in the 1970s, pairs up with the UK Afro dub collective following an initial collaboration in Kingston in 2011. The project eventually resulted in I’ll Never Leave, a 45 released on Soothsayers’ own Red Earth label. Here, they’ll be joined by Mikey D.O.N (Night of the Living Dread) on the decks.
