An old school car boot sale in the leafy setting of the no longer-hidden gem which is Whalley Range’s The Carlton Club, the Rummage promises to be a regular get together of up to 25 stalls of post-lockdown bargains. With a huge beer garden, benches and gazebo (bring a mask to use the toilets), families (including dogs) are welcome and extra deck chairs are encouraged to be brought to aid spreading out.

From midday, award winning fish and chips will be provided by The Hip Hop Chip Shop, who have taken up residence on weekends at The Carlton Club in addition to their Ancoats eatery. Social distancing will be in place, as a one-way system may be bust at times. You’ll need £1.50 for adult entry but contactless is encouraged where possible, and sanitisation of hands if handling cash. A true Manchester community event, this edition will be soundtracked by Be With Records’ Rob Butler. Arrive early for bargains.
