Scene it before: Movieoke at The Lass O’Gowrie

Ever wanted to scream ‘You’re not my father!’ while nursing a severed hand? Or nonchalantly retorting with ‘I know’ to a confession of love before being carbon frozen? Perhaps you already do this every time you watch any of the Star Wars trilogy (the prequels don’t count) – but you’ve probably never done it in front of a room full of movie fans. Already a hit in the US, the brains behind Big Fat Stupid Quizzes bring Movieoke to Manchester and gives patrons the chance to act out their favourite scenes – and for its launch at the Lass O’Gowrie they will be hosting a Star Wars special. Pick a scene, follow the script and show what acting talent, or lack thereof, you have. It beats belting out some Neil Diamond. Popcorn, film tunes, booze and light sabres will be provided. Get working on your best wookiee impression.
