Summertime staple Aperol Spritz is celebrating its 100th birthday (that’s some moisturiser they’re using) by taking over Spinningfield hang-out The Oast House and installing a giant revolving bar. The Aperol Spritz Big Birthday Social will arrive in town on Wed 19 Jun and stay open until Sun 23, inviting punters who love enjoying a cool, refreshing beverage whilst slowly revolving to get involved with their exciting centenary party plans. They’ll be transforming the area into the Aperol 100 Piazza to bring a little Italian flair to our rainy streets and give visitors the chance to dance the night away to a selection of live music and DJs. There’ll be summer selfie opportunities available via an on-site Italian car and Italian Brand Ambassadors on hand to show you how to make your very own colourful cocktails that, like their bright orange dancefloor, will probably revolve around all things Aperol. Entry is free but if you want to guarantee a spot on the carousel bar or in the selfie station, you’ll have to book in advance. Full details can be found on their ticket page.
