Get tucked up and settle in for bedtime with free online storytelling sessions from People’s History Museum. These digital, multi-sensory sessions take place each month and are streamed live from the venue’s Facebook page followed by a batch of creative ideas to explore the next day. Aimed at under 5s, each family-friendly instalment takes viewers on a brand new tale of adventure with links that trace back to the city of Manchester and its colourful past.

The venue’s next story time session is due to take place at 6pm on Thursday 18 March. It takes inspiration from Manchester’s Coat of Arms and invites viewers on a quest to track down Mr Ordinary’s thinking and doing in Mr Ordinary’s Prize. Next up, it’s an exploration of Victorian Manchester and the power that comes with you being you in Beeing Yourself on Thursday 15 April before a royal Queen requests your help to track down the clues needed to reach the end of the rainbow in Under The Rainbow on Thursday 20 May.

Each bedtime story is free to view – and once they’ve aired, they’ll be available to revisit via People’s History Museum’s Facebook page. To learn more about how to tune in, simply follow the booking button below.
