Part of the hugely anticipated Explore@RNCM celebrations, the RNCM is bringing Stephen Sondheim’s award-winning musical to life this Sunday.

Follow the troubled lives of fairy-tale characters as they journey into the woods, encountering magic, mischief, and mayhem. This special, one-off, semi-staged performance, will see RNCM singers join the institution’s brand-new Community Chorus alongside the RNCM Orchestra.

Directed by George Strickland, Into the Woods will be taking place at 6pm, with tickets priced at £12.

Elsewhere in the Explore@RNCM festivities is a free afternoon party. Kicking off at 12pm, visitors can enjoy live music, outdoor performers, face-painting, festival food and even a giant cake.

Later on, at 8pm, Late Night Sessions sees RNCM unite a collection of the city’s best DJs, Vindya, Mark One, and Andrea Trout, who will guide audiences through five decades of music history in the RNCM cafe bar.
