Taking place as part of RNCM’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the legendary Session Orchestra returns to the stage with a showstopping selection of local hits on Sat 25 Feb.
Directed by Andy Stott, the RNCM Session Orchestra and Gospel Choir pay tribute to Manchester’s inimitable music scene with breathtaking renditions of seminal Mancunian musical works across the decades.
Expect to hear orchestral renditions of tracks from The Smiths, Stone Roses, New Order, Lisa Stansfield, Rick Astley, Harry Styles and, of course, Oasis, all performed by the city’s next generation of musicians.
