The Science and Industry Museum is throwing a huge celebration of the human body this bank holiday weekend.

Running from Sat 4 May – Mon 6 May, the museum will host an incredible lineup of talent who have trained their bodies to do extraordinary things, with visitors invited to head down and have a go themselves.

On Saturday, The Circus House will showcase their incredible skills across a series of short performances throughout the afternoon, and will be hosting free drop-in workshops for anyone wanting to get involved.

Sunday welcomes actor and director Faz Shah, who’ll be demonstrating his ‘pop-tastic violin jams’ and leading open beatboxing sessions, while professional hula hoop performer, Natasha Moonshine, will be wowing crowds before hosting a drop-in hula workshop.

Finally, Monday sees modern Bollywood Dance Academy, Aimz Bolly Dance, show off their spectacular routines followed by the opportunity to learn some of their most iconic moves.

The upcoming bank holiday programme forms part of the museum’s month-long body bonanza. Inspired by the world-premiere exhibition Operation Ouch! Food, Poo and You, which will close on Sun 9 Jun, the museum has lined up four weeks of inspiring activities all inspired by the wonders of the human body.
