Record Store Day is the one day of the year where over 200 record shops across the UK come together to celebrate their independent culture. Usually taking place in April, this year is different. With the COVID-19 pandemic affecting events, Record Store Day is #SocialDistancing for 2020.

Divided into three RSD ‘drop dates’ (Saturday 29 August, Saturday 26 September and Saturday 24 October), each date will have its own list of releases, with participating stores hosting on-site socially distanced queues or releases available via their websites from 6pm on the day.

This is your chance to purchase some rare and exclusive records and we’ve pulled together our Top 3 releases from local talent to try get your hands on during this Saturday’s drop…
