1. Hot dog pizza from Crazy Pedro’s
Part of the Black Dog and Liar’s Club group, Crazy Pedro’s Mexican wrestling-themed pizza parlour sells entirely unique pizzas which include the likes of Kingston Rock (jerk chicken, Scotch bonnet, rum and mango salsa), Wacko Jacko (pepperoni, jerk chicken, onion, olives and jalapeno) and, of course, Pedro’s World Famous Hotdog Pizza comprised of beer-soaked frank, American cheese, crispy onions and French’s mustard. They taste even better than they sound.

2. Artichoke and pigs’ cheek sourdough pizza at PLY
Home to a disco-ball-effect pizza oven, hand built by experts trained in the Neapolitan tradition, PLY serves some of Manchester’s finest sourdough pizza. Alongside familiar toppings, such as mozerella and tomato, broccoli, chilli and ‘nduja sausage (a spicy, spreadable Italian delicacy), we particularly like the artichoke and smoked pigs cheek pizza.

3. Gluten Free Pesto Chicken Pizza from Dough
As well as offering a range of traditional pizzas, Dough is Manchester’s leading gluten free pizza maker. This makes their range ideal for coeliacs as well as those who are looking for a modern diet, low in gluten. We particularly like the chicken pesto pizza.
