The sister of our Halloween gigs picks, here we divulge our rainy city’s top offering for all you creatures of the night…

Love Dose with The Mole
Fast becoming one of Manchester’s most prolific venues, Hidden’s line-ups this side of Christmas have been nothing short of phenomenal – and the same applies to the first of their Halloween weekend club nights (the event the day after has already sold out). Celebrating Mexico’s Day of the Dead, Love Dose have invited Prosumer and The Mole to play for an Ostgut Ton double bill. Expect a plethora of house and techno with some serious groove.
Fri 30 Oct, Hidden, DownTex Mill, 16-18 Mary Street, Manchester, M3 1DZ, 10pm – 4am, £15, www.skiddle.com

Project 13 presents: Pangaea
Manchester-based club night and record label Project 13 focuses on experimental electronic music, which is reflected in their impressive roster of guests, including Asusu, Kowton, Tessela and Pagnaea, who returns for this Halloween shindig. A third of the team behind Hessle Audio, Pangaea’s output is a wall of 2-step, dubstep and techno that hits heavy on a dancefloor; and that’s his pull as a selector.
Sat 31 Oct, Secret warehouse venue, 10pm – 5am, £15, www.skiddle.com

Meat Free presents Jeroen Search
Last year, forward-thinking promoter Meat Free put on experimental technofunk artist Legowelt – and this year it’s invited his fellow Dutchman Jeroen Search to see in Halloween. Cited as a source of inspiration whose tracks were actually used in Ben Klock’s recent Essential Mix, Search has been consistently releasing quality music since the mid-nineties and remains one of techno’s most influential producers.
Sat 31 Oct, Joshua Brooks, 106 Princess St, Manchester M1 6NG, 11pm-5am, £10, www.skiddle.com
