Tranny Bingo at the Bay Horse

Bingo’s one of those things that all too often suffers from a pretty bad rep, conjuring the image of tacky halls, cheesy TV ads and tragic middle-aged women wearing too much lipstick. But Monday nights at The Bay Horse are the complete opposite, with their Tranny Bingo now a monthly feature aiming to perk up the popular game of chance. Along with the flamboyant emcees, Sheela Blige (pictured) and Grace Oni Smith, there’s also party games and lip syncing aplenty, meaning that the night promises to be anything but drab. Lipstick will still probably be involved, but thankfully not the band of tragic middle-aged ladies – so grab your dobbers and embrace the glorious drag spirit.
