Let’s get this out of the way: this event isn’t for everyone. If you’ve ever sneered at someone reading a graphic novel, laughed when someone said they like manga or you’ve never even read a webcomic, you should probably find yourself another conference to attend. MancsterCon is a two-day event shedding light on some of the less-known lights of the animation scene based right here in the North West. Working with local landmark Travelling Man, there will be discussions, workshops and comic barcamps, as well as cosplay catwalks, sketch competitions, art auctions and even some cupcakes. If you’re an artist yourself, you can even hire a table over the course of the weekend to sell your own wares.
