Waterside’s legendary comedy night, Laugh Riot, is back next month, landing as part of the venue’s much-anticipated Refract Festival which is set to bring ten full days of outstanding entertainment spanning art, dance, music, performance and theatre.
Happening on Fri 29 Jul (7pm) and Boasting a star-studded lineup assembled especially for Refract, guests can expect side-splitting laughs from Luisa Omielan, whose debut one-woman show What Would Beyonce Do? was named “one of the top UK comedy shows of the last decade” by The Guardian, David Mills’ unique brand of dark comedy and Lee Peart, a familiar face across the UK’s top comedy clubs and recent support for Jason Manford.
Finally, on hosting duties for the evening is the irrepressible Jonathan Mayor who’ll no doubt bring an abundance of razor-sharp audience banter and endless charisma.
