A free, family-friendly festival takes over High Lea Park in New Mills this July.

One World Festival will offer an exciting afternoon of live music across a variety of genres, ranging from pop and rock to indie folk and garage punk.

Along with the live music will be a programme of fun activities for all ages, spoken word performances, 30 community stalls and plenty of international food options.

Sophie Mackreth, one of the voluntary organisers of the festival, says: “We’re busy bringing together the programme for the 36th One World Festival in New Mills – it’s wonderful to see the town come together each year, so we’re working hard to include something for everyone!”

One World Festival will be heading to New Mills on Sat 4 Jul, running from 12pm – 6pm. You can find more information about the festival, including volunteer opportunities, here.
